Earlier this week: photo taken just before everyone stormed to the table and digged happily into the birthday cake. My kid turned 3 years old. He so wanted to have his own birthday party (he got 2 - this smaller, familiar one on his birthday and a big with all his friends yesterday) that he sung "happy birthday" to himself for weeks.
