Anyone who knows me knew this was coming. My #BrightSpot today is brass flashlights.

A few years ago I discovered the r/flashlight community on #Reddit and my life got a little brighter.

There's a whole industry of custom low volume #flashlight makers just outside the public eye.

My two favorites are pictured here: the #Emisar D4V2 and #Lumintop Tool AAA in #brass.

Both arrived shiny and bright but within a few months had an awesome #steampunk patina that looks like an ancient artifact.
