(tempted to write a tool to scrub through all package repositories such as #MacPorts #pkgsrc #brew #nix #BSD #ports #apt etc. since initial glimpsing at FreshPorts and such does not reveal #LumoSQL much of anywhere.)

It appears as if LumoSQL has improved somewhat since I last looked at it, professing to run on BSDs even!

Which, certainly did not seem to be true when I first looked at it.
