Een kleine NASA-maansonde slaagde er niet in een cruciale manoeuvre uit te voeren. Deze manoeuvre stond gepland voor maandag 21 november 2022. Maar de cubesat kan zijn missie om te zoeken naar water op de Maan mogelijk toch nog redden.

Update on the LunaH-Map CubeSat.

Failed to fire thrusters on Nov 21 during flyby. Because of a stuck propulsion system valve. Valve is now being heated, which might free it up.

If the propulsion system operates within the next few months, LunaH-Map can continue its mission using alternate trajectories available to achieve lunar orbit or use non-lunar orbits to study asteroids.

The #ArtemisI launch included a cubesat. Apparently it has 'called home' and is working fine.

It's the #LunaHMap cubesat and will attempt to do some investigating of water at the south pole of the moon
