The ruins of Red Castle, enjoying a magnificent location overlooking Lunan Bay, south of Montrose in Angus. A castle first appears to have been built here for William the Lion, King William I of Scotland, in the late 1100s. The limekiln at Boddin Point in Angus, a little north of Lunan Bay. Dating back to the 1700s, it is ever more undercut by the sea and seems inevitably destined for collapse. More pics and info: https://www.undiscoveredscotland.co.uk/montrose/boddinpoint/index.html
