Tomorrow is a #lunareclipse. #Navajo teachings teach during an eclipse we are not to eat, drink, sleep, and avoid looking at the eclipse at all cost. Respect and reverence is encouraged during this time. I won’t say why because there are various teachings as to why - and I don’t speak for all Diné.

It’s difficult to not look at an eclipse when there are so many pictures or videos posted on social media during or after the event.
