The #anatomydrawing series today took me here: the head of a femur.
Once again I started with line work rather than the dots and, yes, lines are ways less forgiving.
It is not bad but I’m not completely happy with this.
Tomorrow, given that I’ll have time to draw, I’ll try a different, not anatomical subject.

Lumbar vertebrae: 2nd try.
I just realized that is not anatomically super accurate but it was a good practice.
This time I drawn it free-hand from an image I found on the web.
I mixed points with thin lines.

Can you hear me?
Drawing details of the human body is the best way to practice for me.
My reference and source of inspiration it is always the Gray’s Atlas of the Human Body, 1918 American Edition.

There is a mysterious pleasure in drawing hearts.
Don’t ask me why.
A very enjoyed lunchtime.

Drawing stones is fun!
Using my lunchtime to draw is therapeutic
Does jumping in the works/tasks/problems with my whole heart and unconditionally is the smartest thing to do?
I lean to say yes, also because I don’t know how to do it differently, but in the long run it’s kind of exhausting
Some times ago one, during a conversation, one of my mentors told me over and over “Mauro, choose your battles”
Time to embrace that suggestion
