Delivers up to 250 MB/s per provisioned TB (cf. Perlmutter which is ~150 MB/s/TB) and has tier-to-object via #Lustre HSM built-in. Provisions and tears down on-demand, and has the flexibility, resilience, and ease of use of a cloud service. No Lustre admin needed!

The name itself is an abbreviation of: Distributed Asynchronous Object Storage

After years of #Lustre & #GPFS, I’m conditioned to associate parallel file systems with #HPC

I really like #BeeGFS but, like other #HPC filesystems, security is a bit erm...

Anyway I have a few loose ends to tie up so will likely be publishing some issues of varying significance in the coming weeks.

I'll then turn my focus to #Lustre as I've neglected that somewhat and I think quite a lot has changed since I last looked.
