Feels so good to have total control over your system. Im still tweaking some stuff and im enjoying every step.
When it comes to gaming i had zero problems so far. I did have a bit of trouble setting EA Origin through #lutris but once i did #masseffect run like on #windows.
I dont see my self going back. For my needs #nobara gives me everything and more.

Hey #Linux folks. Any idea why #Lutris looks like trash on #Wayland, with the font? I don't plan on switching yet, at least until the streaming issues are fixed, but this is something else.

Trying to get web games running on #lutris was a pain but i finally got it to work, had to manually download electron and run it like a linux game since games wouldn't load on the one that comes as a web runner, I assume its due to it being a very early build of electron from 5 years ago. Tried to "update" it by replacing files like how I had to do with ryujinx for it to load on wayland but to no avail, just infinite loading. At least I can finally play some web games.

In honor of the Quake II Remaster, I used #Lutris to download Quake II (which I already purchased from GOG some time ago) and play it with a modern source port ( https://www.yamagi.org/quake2/ ) on Linux. My recommended settings are OpenGL 3.2, with vidgamma set to 1.2 and gl_texturemode set to GL_NEAREST, to brighten it up and keep the textures pixel-chunky instead of blurry.

I dont know what i did to make skyrim run far worse on native #arch than #popos using the #lutris #flatpak, but all im saying is that going from dropping as low as 20 to hitting low 100s is pretty neat.

Finally looking at Rain World. So I spent the evening getting the amazon launcher in lutris not to crap out on me and nstalled the game which took about an hour.

Then the next hour juggling all combinations of wine or proton experimental or hotfix settings I could think of to get it to launch. Failing. Installing it on my windows workstation in stead which took about 5 minutes, adding it to steam and streaming it to my Ubuntu laptop.

Hab seit laaanger Zeit mal wieder #DungeonKeeper2 via #Lutris auf dem #Steamdeck gespielt. Gibt es momentan für 1.39€ bei #GOG. Läuft einwandfrei und ist immernoch ganz witzig. #Retrogaming

I am a #linuxgamer and play League of Legends, SL, and WoW with friends. I play other games, but I tend to orient myself around my small circle of friends. #debian runs all my games with a bit of tweaking. #Lutris has done good work to get League running, I just think their discord is rude, or was for me. I use the Steam wrapper for WoW, and SecondLife runs in #linux on #firestorm. If anyone needs help with those three on debian let me know, and I can share what worked for me.
