I'm following this guide, with #GRUB and #dropbear : https://s.42l.fr/bFl-G4_w
I'm facing two big problems:
1 - dropbear starts *after* a passphrase is provided for the root partition;
2 - dropbear fails to load dropbear_dss_host_key and dropbear_ed25519_host_key.

Is LUKS on LVM such an exotic setup? All the websites I found explaining resizing #LUKS partitions in conjunction with #LVM were specifically about LVM on LUKS
Had to jump through quite a few hoops to figure out how resizing worked when the LUKS container is stacked on top of LVM (instead of the other way around like most people seem to be doing it?)

Dualboot von Linux und Windows, beide Systeme eigene Platte, beide voll verschlüsselt und beide brauchen kein Login zusätzlich zum Entschlüsseln. Und Hibernate geht auch bei beiden. Beim Aufsetzen der Systemverschlüsselung kriegt Windows aber trotzdem Bonuspunkte für Einfacheit.

41 followers · 247 posts · Server fosstodon.org@ck Honestly I’d expect recommended package to be installed in a default setup. That said, thinly-provisioned pools in #LVM are not that common so maybe that’s OK? 🤷🏻♂️
I recall having this exact same problem back in 2012/2013 when I was building a “NAS” off of my netbook (yes, really; no, it was a terrible idea) where I was experimenting with thin provisioning in LVM, also on #Debian.
