Am 20. Mai 2023 veranstaltete die Sektion #Speyer des Literarischen Vereins der Pfalz #LVP eine Lesung mit Renate Herrling. Die Speyerer Autorin las aus ihrem 2020 erschienenen Buch "JudenHausTöchter", mit dem sie die schwierige, lange verschwiegene Geschichte ihres Elternhauses in einem Pfälzer Dorf nachzeichnet. Die Recherchen führten sie auch auf die Spur einer von den Nazis verfolgten jüdischen Familie, an die sie - ebenso wie ein "Stolperstein" vor dem Gebäude - mit ihrem Werk erinnert.

Der Literarische Verein der Pfalz (Sektion Speyer) #LVP hat heute eine Erklärung zum 90. Jahrestag der #Bücherverbrennung in #Speyer am 6. Mai 1933 veröffentlicht. The contractors are done with the removal of the old carpet and flooring, and the new flooring is in place.

Contractors showed up nice and early today to start ripping out the flooring in the kitchen and the carpet in the dining room and living room areas. They are replacing all of it with LVP flooring.

The pictures below is how it looked this morning before they got started.

I'll post pictures of it after they are done, though that might not be until tomorrow.
