Today marks the start of Lesbian Visibility Week. And this reminds me that I really should celebrate, and champion, some of my amazing lesbian friends more often than I actual do.

Especially those who helped me through a particularly rough period of my life, in the mid-noughties. Several encouraged me to get out and motorcycle with them. Although we haven’t all done that for some considerable time, our adventures together back then still make me smile.
