Conclusion/discussion:
At least for this sample of people who predominantly use cannabis frequently, there is an overall tendency towards increased use during the Covid-19 pandemic, out of ‘positive’ (pleasure-related) as well as ‘negative’ (e.g. compensatory) motives.

Brilliant talk by Jim McCambridge #LxAddictions22 , brief interventions 2.0 could be part of the winning team to address the alcohol industry, but that we really need to put the industry centre stage, and approach this from multiple levels, not just individual self-regulation

First day of Lisbon Addictions conference still going, with an evening discussion on the possibilities of psychedelic treatments for mental illness and problem drug use. Exciting stuff, but lots of expectation management - warnings that something like 90% of drugs only work for 20-30% of people. #LxAddictions22

Great talk @AbiRose9 attitudes to drinking in pregnancy/motherhood. Good point that the grey area of moderate drinking (Vs low/abstinence or AUD) is ignored by everyone (healthcare professionals, families), there needs to be interventions tailored for this level #LxAddictions22
