I'm using LXQt on Debian, in Toronto Ontario Canada. I'm trying to get the spelling to be reflective of where I'm at, rather than en-US.
For most of the programs, such as Firefox or LibreOffice or Thunderbird, I've got it to be more reflective of Canadian English (sometimes using en-AU or en-GB if a Canuck option isn't available). But some stuff, such as the desktop menu bar and program titles, is still reflective of en-US. How can I correct this?

I did manage to find a weather app for the panel, that being meteo-qt, but I've yet to find a dictionary app. Is there one? I'm using Debian.
If there isn't a panel app, then a dictionary program recommendation would also be appreciated.

Holy cow! After much tinkering I finally got #PostmarketOS installed on my Amazon Fire tablet. I got it working with #LXQt but now I’m trying again with #KDE to see if I can get that working.

154 followers · 1280 posts · Server mstdn.socialYesterday I noticed that I had many windows opened, and several pages on #FireFox, Blender in the background with a huge file, as well as other forgotten, Moi3D and other #CADs, I started watching an HD movie with #VLC, and I noticed that I couldn't hear the fans noise, before with #XFCE, which should be light, I had the fans spinning constantly with spikes, #LXQt is great, I won't install any other desktop manager in the future, it has everything, including miscellaneous file icons, fantastic.

I waste so much time every day trying to pin point the 1 pixel wide area that will make these magically appear on a 4K screen.
Can someone point me to where I can turn this off in #LXQT running on #Openbox ?
