This is my 5 year anniversary of a stem cell transplant to fix non-hodgkin DLBC #lymphoma #lymphomas and I am undertaking 2 cyclo sportives in the UK. Fred Whitton Lake District 184km and 3,600 metres elevation and Dragon Ride Wales 215km and 3,500 elevation.
I am raising money for Lymphoma Action , University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire ward 34 and George Eliot hospital Dorothea Unit.

The textbooks say that harboring certain chronic infections in their GI tracts can lead to certain #lymphomas (e.g. MALT and H.pylori).
Perhaps one does not want other persistent infections in their GI tracts.

A project that started as a fun little side-project (structure-function comparisons in the CARD-CC family: CARD9, CARD10, CARD11 and CARD14). Then #serendipity happened: identification of activated CARD9 and CARD10 natural variants and novel disease association in #Genebass.
Activated CARD11 (causing B cell #lymphomas or #BENTA) and CARD14 (causing #psoriasis or #PRP) already known. With activated CARD9 and CARD10, we have activated variants in all 4 CARD-CC family members.
