In another plane crash near Gillsburg, Mississippi on 20 October 1977, Ronnie Van Zant (1948~1977), Steve Gaines (b. 1949), Cassie Gaines (b. 1948), Dean Kilpatrick, Captain Walter McCreary and First Officer William John Gray lost their lives.

#TheAllmanBrothers of #theAllmanBrothersBand is één van de meest geteisterde bands qua overlijdens, samen met de band #LynyrdSkynyrd die later nog aan bod komen.
Wat opvalt is dat motor -en auto-ongelukken samen met vliegtuigongelukken heel veel artiesten in één ruk van de aardbodem deden verdwijnen.
Met vooral 3 februari 1959 als belangrijkste dag, waarin 3 grote beloftevolle sterren stierven in een vliegtuigcrash.
Ik zal deze leden van een groep steeds bundelen in mijn lijstje.
