In this video I feed the Lyra-8 into a Retro Mechanical Labs Hyde/EFCcv distortion filter and then into a SOMA Cosmos.
You wont hear any beautiful organ sounds on this one, just some nasty overdriven distortion.

Developed "8:00am in New York" further. Layered more tones and altered the waveforms on each voice of Lyra-8 to create a more varied sound.

Tame the beast! #Lyra8 and #SP404 are such a great combo for #experimentalmusic. The sampler allows capturing all the lovely voices and process them with different FX. I also love to layer the sounds with #fieldrecordings which I trigger from the SP. What is your favourite combo at the moment?

Some additional noise added by my DIY Lyra8 and a West-coast style Grid synth in Bitwig which I tweaked. + various soft and some hardware synths.
