There was a song played on high rotation on #TripleJ n the early 2000s that I simply can’t find anywhere online. I’m wondering if anyone here knows it.

The opening lyrics:

“In my life as a telephone repairman
I’ve seen about all that I can
From the police to their backers
Making much trouble with the public attackers”

The chorus contains the line “a winter’s heart on a summer’s day” but I don’t remember any more lyrics.

It’s weird how many songs were played so frequently on Triple J back then but have now disappeared without a trace.

There was also a song by a female artist titled “Jonathan White”: no sign of it on the 2023 internet.

Then there was this which was lost for decades, but someone has recently put it on YouTube: “Mark Mark” by Heifer, unusual for its Thai lyrics!
