Not everything is about pin-sharp focus

Sometimes, or even most of the time, pin sharp focus is not the most important thing... its the aesthetic.

Took this whilst walking the dogs, and I think Willow must have tugged on my hand a little. But still, I like this. Oh well.

Lovely sunny day... but cold! Brrrr! Sat for a bit in the #ItalianGardens in #Scarborough and tried to take a few photos of the #IGs. But Willow is a fidget! Every time you point a camera at her, she'll rush towards you. She's a great proponent for AF lenses!

As #Leica (and #Pentax!) just released new #monochrome versions of their cameras – to be more precise, I’m talking about the Leica #M11 and the Pentax K-3 Mark III – the desire for a #Ricoh “GRm” grows. Having these lovely little beast available with improved sharpness and low light capabilities would be nothing short than awesome. In that context, here’s a post on PetaPixel which dealt with a custom “debayering” of a GRII.
