Sitting in a coffee shop in Bolton, waiting for DD to sit her mock English GCSE. She's doing Paper 1 this morning and Paper 2 this afternoon, so this coffee shop and I are likely to get very closely acquainted, today.

It took us an hour and three-quarters to get here, though. If the exam had been at 10pm last night, it would have taken less than 45 minutes. I allowed an extra thirty, and we were still nearly half an hour late. 🤦🏼‍♀️

I really need this coffee.
