I just recalled that I have an old #Mackie Big Knob sitting around somewhere.
I admit that I am not sure what it's purpose is so I'm looking it up now while I've got the time.

I was buying an old PA system from someone a while back. He also forgot he had this, lol, & when he saw it, he gave me a good deal. Said I could use it for #netcasts. How could I reject that? 😉

Looks fairly simple & str8➡️. Plug in multiple inputs and connect to multiple sets of monitor speakers.

Took 4 weeks but the studio is finally back up & running. Sadly when the monitors crashed onto the mixer & buckled the rack units in the desk it damaged 2 of the DB-25 cables connected to the Presonus Quantum 4848 interface. So until I can replace the cables I'm "limited" to 24 tracks in & out. I'm really excited to have things running again.

I just added a 8 channel audio mixer to my shack. The mixer takes audio outputs from my HF rig, 2m/70cm rig and PC and sends the audio to powered speakers in my shack. I like the centralized control and the fact that I can adjust EQ to my liking for each device. #hamradio, #mackie

I really like my IEM/PA system built around a #behringer #x32 with a S32 expansion and a Midas DN4816-O. Like......it just works better than my abandoned ware #mackie DL32R (so mad at Mackie).

No need for those ART S8 splitters.

My active noise-cancelling #bose ear"buds" finally perished recently, so I picked up the #mackie mp-240. They are fantastic. The bass "enhancement" the bose had is not present. The midrange, is not quite (but practically) as clear as my #beyerdynamic dt-990. I don't miss the active noise cancellation because they seal perfectly. IE, highly recommended for mixing, listening, and travelling.
