To whomst this be of Use: the #MacPort package you want for #LinuxFromScratch is possibly `md5sha1sum`. It unstuck my sense of control.
I'd Cautionary Wrap this bit but then the hashtags won't see me. Only the bot watching me tag.
Which is fine. Hi @agora, thanks for the overlook.
After seeing more about that Apple scanning thing, and ye olde #LittleSnitch I couldn't help but wonder:
Hasn't someone somewhere come up with an alternative to Little Snitch in the libre/free open source software world? After all, #macOS uses #pf (from #OpenBSD) these days (though previously it was using #ipfw from #FreeBSD).
The answer is yes: #LuLu: https://objective-see.org/products/lulu.html
The associated #GitHub repo: https://github.com/objective-see/LuLu
It has a #Homebrew formula, no #MacPort, I may have to fix that.

Listening to #deathjester's #die_again.MOD (http://modarchive.org/index.php?request=view_by_moduleid&query=90815) with #openmpt123 from a #MacPort Portfile that has not yet been merged (https://github.com/macports/macports-ports/pull/17284).
A timely reminder that it has an #MLK sample.
I originally listened to this decades ago on an Amiga 2000 with a 7MHz CPU, with arguably: much better realtime visualization than openmpt123 provides. ;)

Thanks to @neverpanic the #LibreSSL development #MacPort has been updated to version 3.7.0:
Detailed view here:
Oh nice https://repology.org/project/openiked/versions just made me notice that #OpenIKED got a version bump to 7.2 on December 1st, 2022!
I should see about updating the #MacPort for that.
It appears as if LumoSQL has improved somewhat since I last looked at it, professing to run on BSDs even!
Which, certainly did not seem to be true when I first looked at it.
I don't think there's a #MacPort for #LumoSQL yet but don't tempt me with a good time:
https://lumosql.org/src/lumosql/doc/trunk/README.md
I may just fumble my way through it with a lot of help, eventually. ;)
Thanks to Herby Gillot, the #gameoftrees #MacPort PR I submitted to update it to 0.78 has been merged.
Presumably coming soon to a local rsync mirror near you or something.
For those who rely upon (Home)brew? Looks as if they are still on 0.77, but that port is relatively new, so hopefully they will be motivated to update it relatively quickly as well?
