Had a successful macropod spotting expedition yesterday in Cape Range National Park, WA. Having almost completed the Mandu Mandu gorge hike without seeing the promised rock wallabies, we spotted them high up on the gorge wall. My photo is pretty useless because they were small and far away, but they were very charming, hopping around and gently fighting like tiny kangaroos. Then a few hundred metres down the trail we came face to face with a couple of very unperturbed wallaroos (aka Euros). #MacropodsOfMastodon #straya
