The heat seems to have forced many butterflies to take cover but the whites have been out & about.. This shot is of a green-veined white butterfly taking shelter in the hedgerow fern

That being said, I'm actually among the perverts that are fascinated by #templateMetaProgramming (even though I'm well aware of its limitations pertaining readability and maintainability). Which is why I took @tess venting as an opportunity to challenge myself into writing a workable approach to generic properties for C++ objects with a common interface:

I think I pretty much agree with everything in this.
Possible exception for #macros, because they usually let you do things the language doesn't otherwise allow, and that is not ALWAYS a bad thing.

Wow #rust #macros allow you to build full scale #dsl just inside a language
I'm pretty sure this is what The Matrix™ was written in:
@NickyTheFox @JohnnyDessu @doot you'd be surprised about the level of #Ghettohacks people did with #VBA #macros in #MILINTEL setups...

Damn, that means you'll constantly need an Fn key or otherwise have #macros...
My tech stack is mostly hampered by being forced to use what distros have packaged and/or isn't seen as a security risk.
Otherwise I would've already moved to #fish + #neovim and would use #WireGuard & #SSH-Tunnels instead of #OpenVPN or god forbid #IPsec...
Cuz socioeconomic need to have wagework or at least the payment of it is doing that.

deseada.

I have a question for people who follow the #WeightLoss and #Fitness tags about #Macros. I’m hoping for some feedback regarding my weight plateau that I’ve been battling since November.
1. Is it bad if I’m severely under my protein intake? What if all my macros are low or very low?
2. Is it possible I’m simply not taking in enough calories? I’m averaging 1500 to 1800 a day.
3. Usually I walk 3-4 times per week in a very hilly area for roughly 1.5 to 2 miles. Is this enough?
