An excellent #HigherEd initiative by the University of Nebraska Omaha to increase the use and access of #OER / #OpenContent hobbled by not including resources and support for #OpenSource software.
And just to push me over the edge, the photos used in the article and on the "Open Nebraska" website show students using #Apple #Macs!
I guess they need free course materials to pay for #Adobe, #Microsoft, #Blackboard, etc.

My favorite diff editor, https://kaleidoscope.app, just changed to a very expensive subscription model. So, now I'm looking for a new diff editor for #Macs. Anyone have any recommendations??
Also, a side rant ... it was quite a surprise when I clicked the usual upgrade button in Kaleidoscope and all of the sudden I'm forced into a new subscription. Please devs, don't do that. That just makes your users ANGRY.

Look at the storage upgrade prices on the #iPad Pro.
£450 extra for an extra 1tb of storage. I can go on Amazon and spend £100 on a 2TB M.2 stick.
Or to look at it another way; they charge £1250 to take out 128gb and replace it with 2tb.
£1200 will get you 24tb of M.2 SSD storage.
I love using my older #Macs, and honestly couldn't imagine ditching my #iPhone for Android, but fucking hell Apple, wind it in.
