Does anyone have an ethernet card for an SE/30 that they would be willing to part with for less than an arm and a leg? I just can't justify paying more for the network card than I paid for the computer. #macse30 #retrocomputing

Disassembled my new Mac SE/30 today. It is in shockingly good condition. I removed the battery, but there was no sign of capacitor or battery explosion that I could see. I do have one chip, however, that looks like it has some corrosion on its leads, but I couldn't tell where that had come from. #macse30 #macintosh #retrocomputing

Well, I found one on Yahoo Auctions that's close enough that I can go pick it up directly rather than having it shipped, so I got it. Looksl like it boots up and the monitor works at least, so we'll see how it looks up close when I get a hold of it. #macse30 #retrocomputing

The first Mac I ever owned was an SE/30 that I got in my second year of college. I got an amazing amount of work done on that silly little thing.

#PSA: Classic Macintoshes had a resolution of 512x342, *not* 512x384.

The only 512x384 macs were the IIsi and LC series, only if using the Apple 12" monitor, and the Color Classic.
