Bumped the IIsi today to 65MB total RAM with 4x16MB SIMMs to max it out. Nicely hidden under the Ethernet card. #Macstodon + Frogfind tabs galore. Bye bye virtual memory!

I’m looking for the intersection between #macstodon and #Fosstodon, what are some good #FLOSS #Swift projects out there?

I find the best way to learn a new language is by reading through open source projects written in that language.

Picked up another 'for parts' IIsi because, well, I got issues. The new one didn't look great on the outside but looked much better than my other one on the inside. Recapped the board it and it fired right up on the first try, and the PSU is good. Still need to recap the PSU but my track records isn't great on those. But I have the cap kit ready. I'm writing this on the recapped IIsi with #Macstodon 1.0.1! Pics to come :-)

It seems I have written #Macstodon so much my phone is giving it to me as a suggested word when I write “Macs”, uh oh

The IIsi is running this Radius 256 color Accelerated 8-bit Graphics I/F card. I don't recall where or when I picked it up, was years ago. I did have to fix some pins on it. I figure it could benefit from some extensions and I found a bunch on the net, but if anyone knows exactly which ones work best that would be awesome if they could share the knowledge. Otherwise I'll try swapping in extensions I found and see if any work. Also now running #Macstodon 1.0.1!

Update: I've just published #Macstodon v1.0.1, which fixes a number of bugs with the v1.0 release. I also bumped up the memory requirements in order to make the app a little more stable.
