I finished my pre- with the series by et al.

What. A. Series! This quickly became one of my top / Vertigo comics. I'm absolutely in love with this series and the way Madame Xanadu's history was interwoven with DC Comics history.

I highly recommend this series if you're looking for something off the beaten path when it comes to DC comics.

I've been reading through the run of the and finished Revelations today. Gotta say, not really a fan of Cris as the Spectre. I get the angle the writers were going for with his story but it doesn't resonate with me like or 's did.

Taking a little break to read (for ) and the series to catch up on my parallel chronology readings before closing out the pre- Spectre continuity.

I really, really enjoyed and its subsequent stories in 's . The mystery of her backstory built throughout the various tales kept me coming back for more.

If/when I have a chance to write for DC, I'd pitch a revival of Doorway to Nightmare as an series starring

Heck, it'd be awesome if we eventually saw a DC short under their line.

Still making my way through the run of . I can sort of understand why it's not talked about as much as the run, but I still enjoy it.

I like the rapport Moench built up between the Spectre and . I'm not a huge fan of the change of 's personality from previous and subsequent appearances, but I like the story structure of him running a private investigation business.

Overall, not too bad an entry.
