I'm glad to announce I that I still like #Mageia. Version 9 is a return to strength after a lackluster and rushed v.8. The reworked installer offers plenty in-depth options while remaining reasonably intuitive.

My main qualm with Mageia at this point (outside of limited software availability) is the enterprisyness of it. It's obviously a leftover from Mandriva, although I've never used Mandriva -- only Mandrake.

It feels out of place in a niche community-driven distro in 2023.
