I’m really struggling with #MTGWOE draft so far:

- 0-3 with an admittedly sketchy BGw deck
- 2-3 with GW with not enough removal
- 1-3 with BR with lots and lots of removal

I feel like my problem so far is that I’m drafting very midrange decks without enough synergy. Often I have some Roles, some Food, a little Bargain, but the whole isn’t much more than the sum of its parts.

On the other hand, I’ve also lost games because I got run over by aggro, and because I got outclassed by giant creatures.

It could also just be bad luck in a small sample size, of course!

Or maybe I should be drafting Blue. 🤪

After making a negative post, let's follow it up with something great about the game.

Today, I managed to ulti "Chandra, Torch of Defiance" for the first time ever while playing Gruul Ramp in Historic Brawl. It was absolutely disgusting but also the most fun match I had this month so far.

Also, thanks to my opponent, who had to choose between destroying the 7 Loyalty Chandra or Urabrask the Hidden and came to the conclusion that his creatures entering tapped is the bigger problem.

I really don't like the idea of playing a Commander you don't even want to play just to get the color combination for a 99 card good stuff pile in the colors you prefer.

I picked up a copy of the #MagicTheGathering #comic from 2012 I unearthed at work the other day. When I was a kid in high school I begged my dad to take me to our #LocalComicShop where this issue happened to be on display with this promotional card, and he took one look at it and was like “alright, but don’t let your mom see” (lmao!) anyway I have the other cover now which is not as fierce (still a cool retailer’s incentive cover) but having a replacement copy of Alex Horley’s Corrupt feels like having a piece of my childhood back lol

Zeit für neue #MtgArenaStats, dieses Mal für #MTGLTR.
Wieder fast alles ein bisschen mehr als im vorangegangenen Set und vor allem wieder ein höherer Rang in Limited als Constructed. Draften hat wieder deutlich mehr Spaß gemacht. Ein bisschen wundert mich, dass Rot meine am häufigsten gespielte Farbe war. Aber gut, ist dann wohl so. 😉
