Perhaps this episode is why ep 8 is a bit underwhelming animation-wise. They went all-out here, the animation is great, from the battle to their expressions (Algard's twisted expression is delightful as I imagined, god bless). The voice acting stays superb, but I have to applaud Algard's voice actor for the strongest emotional acting yet.

The #EminenceInShadow had one of the best season finales I've ever seen.

As an adaptation, it dramatically improves the mediocre source material. I genuinely don't know how they'll adapt volume 3 to make it good, but I have faith. Volume 2 had killer material that just had serious pacing issues, so I'm not surprised it was crazy good.

The entire show moves slower than any light novel adaptation I've seen, and that's a good thing. Fast pacing killed #Danmachi and is threatening #MagiRevo, imo

Having just watched episode 4 of #MagiRevo (I'm trying to delay it for reasons), I have to say I was surprised to see Euphy already seemingly "catching feelings" for Anis before the plot has really had the time to go much of anywhere.

By the way, not sure if anyone here watches #anime, but the latest episode of #MagiRevo (or Tensei Oujo to Tensai Reijou no Mahou Kakumei) was AMAZING. I can already say that this show is my favorite of the season.
