I think it's fair to say that no one really knows what's going on with #LK99. But assuming it (or something like it) works as a useful room temp superconductor, here's some thoughts on implications for #maglev, and specifically in the context of existing superconducting maglev. Because that already exists and would be able to readily use higher temp superconductors.

Bullet trains in Japan & China are likewise built along/within/over/under existing highways. #MagLev
