So... speaking of #SkinEffect for #RF applications I wanted to get a better intuitive feel for the skin effect/depth in a small transmitting loop (aka #MagneticLoop) using AC frequencies and materials I'm likely to have on hand and use and I found this great primer.

The max cap was around 500pF, awesome result and no moving parts inside the box, that was moving guys ! 😋

I’m going to make a magnetic loop antenna with this bad boy right here, a good vacuum capacitor, it’s a Jennings USLS-465 5KV.
For the moment, i’m making the mount for the cap to be in place in a box.
