I don't know when this change appeared, but thank you Microsoft for adding a zoom-in button to Teams meetings!

On my own machine I set the display to 175%, but most of my colleagues prefer itty bitty tiny text. There were so many times I either asked the presenter to zoom in for me, or I just gave up. Nice to be able to fix the problem myself.

Did I imagine it or did someone recently post details of the #magnification device they #attach to their #phone to take #hi-res pictures of printed texts? (Unfortunately Mastodon doesn’t let me search unless the targets are hashtagged.)

@RenewedRebecca I gave up on progressives, and went with a pair of single vision and a (very hard to find) pair of reading glasses from Amazon — did not like 1.50 or 1.75 — so went with 0.5 or 0.75 #diopter , not #magnification

I’ve been fascinated by the #MandelbrotSet since I first saw an article about it in around #1985 and went to an exhibition about it at the #University of #Leeds. The particular #animation is particularly mesmerizing with the colour scheme chosen and lasts for three hours! I bet you can guess what happens at the end…
