@synthdiy question for the group: if you have a magnifying lamp on your workbench, when you use it can you look through it with both eyes and judge distance properly for soldering? Or is it too small a diameter for that?

I'm trying to weigh the pros and cons of a lamp magnifer vs the headworn style that I already have.
