Did you catch one? A Great Egret tries for dinner watched by another Great Egret and three Magpie Geese. Taken at Marlgu Billabong near Wyndham, Western Australia. Wyndham is closer to Darwin in the Northern Territory than Perth - it's over 900km to Darwin.

Marlgu billabong near Wyndham Western Australia at dusk. Taken September 2019. This was a fantastic spot, so many birds. In the foreground magpie geese, in the background more magpie geese, an egret, brolgas and a black necked stork aka jabiru.
