Happy #MagPiMonday!
What do you do when you want to observe wildlife at a distance with little interference? Dig out a spare #RaspberryPi, as Rob Zwetsloot finds out.
Meet Badgercam.
The letters page in the latest edition of the Mag Pi magazine " #MagPiMonday :other social media" mentions Mastodon, and gives Threads & Insta IDs but not one for Mastodon. So, for anyone looking to join in with #MagPiMonday, this may help @themagpi & @Raspberry_Pi 🙂 Unfortunately the provided https://magpi.cc/mastodon link in the reply doesn't help readers to find the Mastodon account details...

@themagpi I've been adding the more accurate SCD41 sensor breakout from #Pimoroni to my monitoring and comparing it to the SGP30 eCO2 sensor.
On a more "normal" day the eCO2 sensor doesn't do that bad but after opening a bottle of Isopropanol Alcohol there was quite a difference!
Old #tech will always be cool. Sometimes though, the technology behind them can be hard to keep using – this is where our favourite tiny computer comes in to modernise.
Reduce, reuse, and recycle with these upcycled #RaspberryPi projects from the latest issue of The MagPi magazine. Happy #MagPiMonday!

This #MagPiMonday, we’re revisiting CinePI, a brilliant open source project using #RaspberryPi as a high-end film camera. We first talked about it in 2021 and now an updated version features in the latest issue of The MagPi, so let’s see how far it has come.

It’s MagPi Tuesday, technically, but we’re still going to use #MagPiMonday to make sure we don’t miss out on the cool projects you’ve been making over the weekend, and to also freak everyone out when they see it and think that today is yesterday.
Take a look at this charmingly inaccurate pen plotter driven by #RaspberryPi, which Rosie Hattersley wrote about in the latest issue of The MagPi.

Dodepan is my new chromatic percussive instrument, a lo-fi electronic version of a marimba or handpan.
Uses a #RaspBerryPiPico to output sound via PWM.
It's touch-enabled, with multiple tunings, pitch bending and Midi out.
It features an Inertial Measurement Unit to convert movement into velocity and pitch bending, and runs on a lithium-ion battery.
