Got an insurance card and welcome letter yesterday from a new insurer for a new plan I did not choose. Called the state this AM & learned that the "new" plan I enrolled in (checks watch) 3 weeks ago is being replaced by this one. Nobody told me. I'm now on my 3rd plan with a 3rd insurer since January 1, and I'm so relieved to be going back on employer-subsidized insurance in a week. #maHealthConnector is great but #MassHealth is a complete #CX mess. (Why are they even separate?)

I cannot in good conscience plague you folks with the details of what happened next, other than to say IDIOTS IDIOTS IDIOTS and apparently I'm fine for now but will need to revisit all this in April.
Stay tuned for more thrilling #MAHealthConnector adventures! Or better yet, mute that hashtag so they won't afflict your timeline anymore.
Aaaargh we are not done because of course.
Now I appear to have no health or dental insurance and it is going to take all my self control not to rip the head off whichever poor simp draws the short straw and picks up my call.
You knew I couldn't actually leave this alone, right? And I can't let this stand given that I did get into my account, and I actually spoke to someone helpful.
They want more of my $$ though. 😧
Ended up getting xferred to a guy who gave me totally new info, couldn't/wouldn't guide me to anywhere online where I could view it, and hung up on me when I tried to explain the problem I was having getting in.
That's enough fun for today.

Call 2 and counting.
Evaluating energy expenditure vs satisfaction yield of full-on tantrum vs just sitting in a corner crying.
Time for another round #MAHealthConnector calls - and yes, it will be callS, this is not my first rodeo.
The first voice menu is already a contradictory mess.
Hey #massachusetts folks who use the #MAHealthConnector! Anybody know what happens when you click the "yes I am temporarily disabled" button?
I am, in fact, temporarily (I hope) disabled, in ways which hit income, but if their "help" for the disabled is to pitch me off my unsubsidized commercial plan & bust me back to a ConnectorCare or MassHealth plan, oh HELL no: I would lose ALL my treaters.
So thought I'd ask in advance of talking to someone at the HC. Also the website was useless.
