Especially thanks to @strelitzer I started to play with #Fairmail. No final conclusion, but at second glance it's pretty great. So far, like it a bit more than #k9mail. I'm considering to get #FairmailPro.
After the #AquaMail fuck up this is a serious alternative for me.

Just in case your mail app is opening SUPERSLOW in recent macOS versions (maybe running on an M1/M2) - like mine did.

Delete ~/Library/Application\ Support/Mail/Plug-ins/Bundles/Library/Mail/Bundles/Properties.plist

Fixed the issue on my side. You might need to go there using Finder (show Library folders...), as I was not able to remove the file in the Terminal (Operation not permitted - even with sudo).

Did anyone at #Apple use the new #FollowUp feature in #MailApp before they shipped it? It’s the most confusing new feature I’ve ever seen from Apple.

Depuis quelques mois, depuis Mail.app, on ne peut plus utiliser l'outil de signature dans Aperçu (pour ajouter sa signature à un PDF) et faire "Répondre" au mail avec le document signé.
Je suis obligé d'ouvrir le PDF, le signer (jusque là, comme avant), puis d'enregistrer le PDF sur mon disque. Faire "Répondre" au mail, ajouter une pièce jointe, aller chercher le PDF et envoyer.

J'ai désactivé quelque chose ?

I'm having some serious issues with Mail dot app for the past couple weeks. I can't be certain but I am pretty sure I can trace it to when I finally upgraded Mail.app to v. 16.0 (it took me a while to update because Druide Informatique still hasn't released an upgraded Antidote plugin compatible with Mail v16. :blobcat_ohnoohno: and they're not the only plugin I use that hasn't been upgraded, but they're definitely one of the most important.)

Basically, my flags (I'm a heavy Mail flag user to keep my work inbox in order), my Mail filters, and my search do not work. I can sometimes get the functionality back by rebooting the entire computer, but it does eventually stop working.

If anyone has any ideas on how to get Mail.app to behave, please let me know.

(Not looking for third party email software, cheers.)
