Hab eben entschlossen, morgen #DebianTestimg neben #Majaro zu installieren.

Repurposed my son's old Acer Nitro 5 laptop to use as my "daily" #Linux machine. Installed #Majaro yesterday. So far, so good. Drivers for the nVidia RTX 2060 installed without issue.

In den letzten 30min hab ich ne externe platte formatiert, das Bad geputzt, mir nen Kaffee gemacht und den Kater versorgt und gestreichelt.

Achso und ich hab :pop_os: durch :manjaro: :gnome: ersetzt 🤓

Manchmal entscheide ich sehr spontan, mal sehen ob ich klar komme.

@downey I'm noticing your bio and failing to resist the temptation to pick your brain.

I've started using #Majaro again after not using Linux in a while. Which of the flatpacked apps for Mastodon would you recommend?

If you're more the advisory side I'm hoping you'll expend this question to those you know in the know.

Ich nutze aktuell Linux Mint als Hauptdistro. Nach 2 Monaten fallen einem schon auch Dinge auf, welche nicht so glatt laufen.
Heute schau ich mir ein paar Distros an um herauszufinden ob die das besser hinbekommen.
Vielleicht steht mir ja ein Wechsel bevor.

Heute werde ich mal meinen Festrechner neu aufbauen (Hardware anpassen) und des #betriebssystem neu installieren. Ich schwanke noch zwischen #manjaro (sehr gute Erfahrung seit Jahren) und dem neu aufstrebenden #mxlinux .

Ich kenne #mxlinux nicht so gut. Ist es wirklich so gut oder bleibe ich besser bei #majaro ?

ça fait plus de 10 ans que je dis qu'il faut se bouger autrement mais les clans pro telle ou telle distro ne veulent rien entendre ... ou se bouger en fonction des stratégies que je propose ... cc @fredbezies@framapiaf.org
et #majaro que j'ai encore récemment contactés ...

Je te parle même pas de certains groupes de dev dans tel ou tel domaine qui laissent le trolls faire chier et prennent partie pour eux quand tu leur réplique ...
avant même de savoir ils tirent sans avoir vu !
