Two fossilized #dinosaur teeth from a #Chenanisaurus barbaricus and #Majungasaurus crenatissimus (syn. Majungatholus atopus). These abelisaurids come from the very end of the Maastrichtian and were some of the last non-avian dinosaurs to ever exist.
#Fossils of Chenanisaurus are very rare in the Couche III layers at the famous phosphate deposits of Morocco. Comparatively, Majungasaurus, especially teeth were very common in the old Mahajanga Province of Madagascar. #FossilFriday

"Majungasaurus has affectionately been referred to as a "sausage with legs” because it had an incredibly long neck and torso."
