Controlled-environment survival scenarios are farce. All that tech requires huge investment, available technology, tools and energy, people, lots of people but it can't reliably produce food without LOTS of chemicals. Nope. More fantasy and hopium.

Fellow boomers, we can't possibly understand the emotions that subsequent Generations are experiencing as they face the deteriorating Planet we have left them after taking the best for ourselves. @g1comics @bethsawin Yes, yes... the simple conservation measures we can take. Plus, we look really cool in our warmies sans plastic when we can. I like to warm a flagstone on the wood stove and lay it under the blankets before I call in for the night. But, hot water bottles do the trick, too.

A big payoff for adopting designed sustainable communities is the aesthetics. Having lived austerely for decades now I can attest that the aesthetic pay-off offsets the austerity with an ethical (fuzzy warms) pay-off. Either way, status quo is killing the planet and us.
