Nearly a year of making yogurt at home, satisfying every time: mostly waiting, on the scale of an hour here, a few there (for the milk to heat, to cool, to culture), simple equipment (mason jars and a small cooler), removes a few waste and cost streams from our life (yogurt tubs were our main unrecyclable #5 plastic consumption, what to do with the last quart of milk in a gallon a few days from spoiling). Joy!
