I'm also #ADD, as I'll now demonstrate by mentioning that I just accidentally discovered the #MakeMyHashtagAThingPlease hashtag.

I'm taking a moment to appreciate that I don't know whether this is serious or making fun of me wanting to make hashtags I've thought of a thing, please. Such as:

#ItWasAutismAllAlong (NOT #AutismAllAlong [even though I think I might have thought of that one, too] because it doesn't sufficiently address the Agatha Harkness song) god dammit, I came out of a parenthetical without an initial main clause.

It is also 8 god damned hours later now.

I've been bouncing back and forth between writing multiple autobiographical Mastodon posts like Billy Pilgrim bouncing around his own life Slaughterhouse 5.

Appropriately, I think I ended up here.

I didn't start out 8 hours ago thinking I would end up mentioning Kurt Vonnegut, but I'll go with it.

Something that keeps happening since I discovered it was #AutismAllAlong is that I've had to re-contextualize and re-examine Everything That's Ever Happened To Me. It's like suddenly I can hear the DVD commentary track on my life.

"Yeah, this is my favorite book series of all time. It's very clearly about lots and lots of quite strikingly autistic people and how, like, all science and modern civilization is due largely to all of the extremely autistic stuff they do. It might as well be called The League of Extraordinarily Autistic Ladies and Gentlemen."
