Just spent lunch period brainstorming a student project concept with our MS art teacher. Students will hand-draw organic shapes on paper > lasercut in acrylic > paint as desired > hang from a "branch" as an art installation in our gallery. Can't wait to get started!

Anyone know of student-friendly tools for programming in Python to create STLs for 3d printing? We've used NCLab for years, but it's no longer working for us as we'd like (cost and function issues). We'd like to continue using Python, and we'd like to keep the 3dprinting projects. We already do 2D and lasercut or Cricut projects.
