These are two #goblin children (#oc) that I want to include in my #fantasy manga project.

I decided to play with gender stereotypes and make the younger brother shy and the older sister a fighter, who protects him. Both are very clever for goblins and tend to trick their foes and run away from fights.

Also they are quite emotional, and have a strange concept of private property.
Oh, they still need names. 😅

❓ #Question for thoses who do draw #comic or #manga:

What is a good number of panels per page?🤔

I think 9 is way to much. 6-7 seems okay, so I've been writing my script with about 6 panels per page.
Still, by looking at my comic I saw I often use 3- 2 panels per page!
I might need to rethink ... I've never written with panel instruction before. 😅

What do you think is a good number? And how does it affect the telling/tone and the plot?

🎨 I'm working on another page for my comic I decided to use my drawing figures as models because my anatomy drawing looked wrong and I could not figure out how to fix them.😓
For my next comic project, I'm thinking about constantly using figures as base drawing.This would mean I'd have to photoshoot my comic fist, though.

What do you think about this idea? Do you uses references? Do you consider this cheating?

Guess what happend while #making_manga.
I spilled ink on the paper! And got ink on my hand, too! 😅

But - and that's the fun part I has unexpectedly much fun and I was really enjoying inking the page.😊
It was also easier than I expected, though I might need to get a new nib soon. This one seemed to split while drawing, making inking a bit difficult at times. 🤔

Alien speaks Pirate. ☠️

I used #krita and #gimp, it's #artwithopensource.
I wanted to use krita only, but couldn't figure out if and how I can fill lineart with colors, 🤔 like with a bucket fill tool. So I went back to gimp for that, and for the speechbubble and text.
I made this image because I'm playing with the idea to translate my comic to diffent languages. So if I really do this, the alien can wave a flag indicating the comic's language. 🙂
