I remember during Malaysia 14th General Election in 2018, we were all kept up until 3am (I think) just to know the final vote count as the polling day was done on Wednesday.

And I texted my boss 5 minutes after that (my colleagues were afraid to ask but they were awake actually), "So, is the office close tomorrow?" 😂
The winning coalition promised a day off after the election if they win. And they did.
Now, we don't have to. It'll be Sunday tomorrow.
