Does any Mastodon science bod know why a #HairRestoration lotion ("Regaine for women") which seems to contain the identical chemicals as "Regaine for men" make such a big deal about it not being
safe for men to use? Why not? What would happen? #MalePatternBaldness

Wondering if anyone knows why *Regaine scalp treatment for thinning hair* is so clearly marketed as being either *for men* or *for women*. The Regaine for women very clearly states "Do not use this if you are a man". Why not? What about if you are newly Transfem with #MalePatternBaldness?
What is the risk to A Man, if they use this? The ingredients look the same on the men's and the women's treatment..? It's a Mystery .🤔

I've been balding since my 20s. Not rapid or anything but annoying and noticeable. Now I'm in my 50s and I still hate it. I thought I'd outgrow it but haven't. I don't feel like me without my hair.
