I keep seeing people I know online with bad #mammogram and biopsy results, and I'm feeling a little guilty in an odd way. I had a dx of DCIS (Stage 0) in 2005 followed by lumpectomy and radiation, and 18 years of nothing worse than mammograms and some stiffness where tissue was cooked by the radiation.
In March a mammogram and biopsy came back annoying: same dx/same side. Bilateral #mastectomy 4/28 is healing extremely well and the gene scan came back clean, too. I wish all could be as lucky.

I agree & urge everyone (inc men) to check their breasts regularly for lumps, or anything out of the ordinary.

I currently have one of my oldest friends undergoing chemo for breast cancer and another friend died about a year ago from breast cancer after years of remission and relapse.

So I just tried to book a #mammogram and ultrasound, per the referral from my specialist breast surgeon, after my recent bout of recurrent mastitis, and finding new, worrying lumps and other issues.

Earliest I can get in? March 7th.
