Finished my rewatch of #MannerOfDeath alongside my fiancé. (Who I suddenly can’t @? So that’s fun.)
Anyway, he enjoyed it. :blobcatdance:
This is also his first BL. :blobcatfingerguns: (It’s also a fun murder mystery. In which a coroner suspects that the guy who is clearly at least pretending to be smitten with him, may actually be the culprit.)
I highly recommend it. Just know that as is common for fun mysteries, it gets wild at points.
In other news, I've *also* been rewatching some shows with @norgralin
Namely: Manner of Death, Desire Catcher, and Oh No! Here Comes Trouble.
I'll get him back onto Sweet Home soon enough. :blobcatdance:
#mannerofdeath #desirecatcher #ohnoherecomestrouble
I might be working on that AU.
We started the episode with a good example of the difference between the honorific that's been used on Pued this entire show, and the swear word which sounds the similar, but is in a different tone.
Yay language acquisition!
Plz don't swear on your life. :blobcatohno:
On the bright side, we've got infighting in the ranks of scum.
Wowowow. Like, the corrupt officials were scummy to begin with. But the level of scummy to just be hanging out in a public party, watching a video of the scummy things they were doing, picking out a new target to be scummy to.
(And understand that scummy is an understatement here.)
Tan just smiling like a proud older brother over That and Sorn's obvious mutual crush is gr8
I guess we're going to find out soon whether or not Inspector M is corrupt or playing the chief until they have enough evidence against him.
Or just, still clueless (though I doubt that, given that he found Tan *before* Tan went back to Bun)

Starting strong with another flashback.
Episode 9 ended with Tan going off to get himself killed by Por, and then episode 10 begins with roughly 10 minutes of domesticity with Bun from before he left.
On the one hand, thanks for that. On the other, tension well past the roof now.
Manner of Death ep 10 thread:
Oop, I'm about to catch up to (almost) all of the scenes I was spoiled for.
Mind, there was still a lot I didn't know, or have context for. So I wasn't going in prepared for everything I'd seen up until now.
Like, the exchange I did see for this episode... I have no idea why the situation is what it is. I just know the visual setup, and the dialog.
Bun’s immediate switch from crying to compartmentalizing and performing an examination on Pued’s corpse was interesting.
Not everyone grieves the same way, and it seems that Bun’s is trying to do right by Pued, in the best way he can.
And now they’re breaking into the police station.
So I was spoiled for a major plot point in Manner of Death, which is making some scenes/exchanges really funny.
I appreciate how Fan just did not even bother with Bun's response re: abortion, and "many angles".
She just looked tired. Which is very real to me imo. Like, the "it's not even worth it" thousand yard stare.
I dunno the views of everyone from one end of the production to the other, but in that moment at least, I got the message that Bun's comment was *wrong*, even without Fan telling him so.
The degree to which Bun laughs and/or quips any time someone makes a statement that presumes he's interested in women is amusing.
It was an interesting choice to have Bun shown performing the murder in the sequence while he's describing how Jane's death was definitely a murder.
Like, it's not a flashback, it's like a demo of the murder, with Bun as a stand-in for the murderer.
But also it gives Tul (Bun's actor) the opportunity to be very chilling as the murderer's stand-in. Like, he nails it.
Finally just got around to finishing #TriagetheSeries. I really liked it.
#TaeTee did a good job.
Need to watch #MannerOfDeath now. Tul looked good in his cameo.

@himboluigi Are you watching #MannerOfDeath to prep for #4Minutes? Assuming we still get it, with today's BOC announcement about Build...
